MREL representatives have just returned from instructing at the FBI LVB CM in Albuquerque, New Mexico where they instructed on Advanced Targeting Principles and demonstrated the effects of their latest tool called Shredder. The effects of this tool proved to exceed or be comparable to the RANT. This solution comes in COTS materials with the driving force being FIXOR™ Binary Explosive . FIXOR™ is proving to be the pourable explosive that can be used for all IED Defeat operations and Conventional Munitions Disposal tasks.

The Defence & Security Products Department is pleased to announce that it will be participating in Operation Maple Leaf CBRNe training in Ottawa, Canada on May 10 to 14. Operation Maple Leaf brings Bomb Technicians from around the world together to work through many IED incidents. IEDD Specialists from MREL's Defence & Security Products Department will be working with the delegates on the VBIED scenario where the students will have the opportunity to load and fire MREL's AquaRam™ Tactical Disrupters and EZCore™ Tactical Disrupters against fully instrumented VBIED targets.
